THE MEANS: 512 E.D.I.C.T.
- Establish learning centers (outposts) to provide resources and access to alternative education in the media arts.
- Develop an international network of artists and social activists; to increase solidarity within our movement through the work of affiliates
- Increase social awareness towards a broad range of social and political issues that affect our lives and communities.
- Collaborate with community based organizations and sponsor local events, concerts, screenings and political actions.
- Tell the story of our common cultural history through the creation of independent media, and the establishment of channels through which it can be distributed
The Objectives of the Five.12 Collective are the product of action taken by a new generation of artists. Raised by the generation of social activists and educators and artists, we have taken on the responsibility of creating change in our communities, yet in a new context. TBC
